Students exchange programme with King Saud University

Stemming from an MoU signed between King Saud University (KSU) and Imperial College London last year followed by a high level Imperial College London delegation (Professor Salman Rawaf, Professor Azeem Majeed, Professor Elio Riboli, Dr Josip Car) that visited KSU last month, a programme of joint collaborative in research, undergraduate teaching and postgraduate training was agreed between the two Universities across the 4 Faculties of Medicine, Engineering, Natural Sciences and Business.

Led by Professor Riboli, Health of School of Public Health and Professor Majeed, Head of Primary Care and Public Health it has been agreed that 5 medical students from King Saud University will come to London for a one month elective in General Practice and Cardiology in May 2014.

This is an important development as a number of Imperial students have expressed interest in travelling to KSA for their elective. Professor Rawaf and his team have been asked to coordinate the process.
