Rapid Response Teams (RRT) Trainings

Our Team has signed a contract to support the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia with Itkan Consulting Teams in the Rapid Response Team Trainings for emergency preparedness and response. Our team helped adapt the WHO training packages to the KSA context with the help of the national trainers. More information about the 9 training workshops will come out later in 2024.

However, part of the training programmes and agreement is the Adaptation workshop and Training of Trainers in Soft Skills [teaching and leading] in emergency preparedness and response.

In September 2023, our team delivered a Rapid Response Team (RRT) Advanced Training Programme Adaptation Workshop in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Hosted by our team and Itkan Health Consulting teams, this workshop enhanced emergency response preparedness in the Saudi context by adapting the World Health Organization RRT ATP Packages available online.

Workshop Highlights:
– Emphasised the importance of adapting training programs to local contexts.
– Explored Saudi Arabia’s healthcare system and identified key stakeholders.
– Conducted a comprehensive needs assessment to tailor training materials.
– Fostered cross-cultural understanding for effective emergency response.

Collaboration in Action: Participants worked closely with experts to adapt training materials for 270 RRT members. This collaborative effort ensures that responders are well-prepared and capable of training others nationally and internationally.
Global Impact: This adaptation workshop draws on global emergency response lessons and tailors them to Saudi Arabia’s unique needs, reinforcing the nation’s readiness for emergencies.

As for the Training the Trainer – Skills Development Workshop:

In Saudi Arabia, we delivered a transformative three-day “Training of Trainers” workshop to amplify the impact of training in public health emergency preparedness!
